The Living Faith Fellowship group is working to start a new Christian church that serves the people of the City of Amsterdam. Our desire is to be a close community of strong believers who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness and accuracy and do good works in the local neighborhoods as an authentic demonstration of Jesus’ love.
A strong community is based on strong relationships:
1) Our relationship with God.
2) Our relationships with our surrounding neighborhood.
3) Our relationships with each other.
2) Our relationships with our surrounding neighborhood.
3) Our relationships with each other.
All activities at LFF should serve to strengthen one or more of those relationships.
Our pattern of regular worship consists of three parts:
1) A “standard” worship service which includes music, prayer and bible teaching, lasting a total of about 45 minutes. This is when we focus on our relationship with God.
2) Community service time, lasting about one hour. For now we are working on simple projects - cleaning up sidewalks and parks, but we hope to branch out into many different areas as time goes on. This is how we hope to grow in relationship with our neighborhood.
3) A shared lunch or dinner together. This is time set aside to grow in our relationships with each other.
